immagine   The presence of a school in a protected area is an important local resource, enhancing development within a complex system of historically opposite interests, as are productive and protection interests. The policy of a protected area must be chosen in the new framework of local sustainable development policies, which include the protection of resources without preventing their use.
The aim is to increase the general interest towards our natural and cultural heritage, in order to enhance and improve it. This will be possible only by effectively integrating the protected area to the economic framework of its territory.
The Park has to play an active and direct role in involving the population, starting with a new and global approach to the world of schools through specific projects. For instance, by participating to the training of the teachers and operators of its educational structures.
Building a naturalistic culture through the perception of one's territory, in terms of environmental and cultural resources, is a fundamental step towards real development.

Projects in progress:
  • Un Po di Parco

  • Youth Exchanges
