The Ecomuseum of Marsh Herbs of Villanova di Bagnacavallo

The ecomuseum started its research and collection work in 1985, mainly to save and keep track of a heritage of skills and values related to life lived in between the land and the valley.

The centre is organised in five sections and it exhibits a vast collection of artefacts of the pre-industrial period made with the herbs of the valley, poplar and  willow wood. It also includes a didactic hall and a permanent exhibition on the games of that time.
